When You Can Stop Building Links For Your Site

Link building is such a difficult task that people tend to think, when is time I can really stop building links for my site? Also how much link is really enough?
Its an interesting question. I used to work for the most popular B2B site online to build links for their site. you will be surprised to know that they are the best in the industry trading thousands of millions of product online and their Alexa rank is over 2100 mark and they have already established a firm market online. But why should they still build more links for their site? It sound strange is it not?
But its not that strange as it sounds. So why does even established sites involve in link building? answer is simple, their whole market depends on how they rank in search engines, to establish a more firm position in search engines they got to build as many links as possible to stay well ahead of their competition and also sustain their position when there is a new change in search engines algorithm.
Also when sites like blogs become popular after a certain period of time, you will start to find people tend to link to you automatically, so without your any serious efforts from your side, your site will already be attracting more links. That’s one of the advantage of having an established site.
But on the other hand when you hold a site that is relatively new then you might well be needed to build links on a consistent basis everyday, I would say try to build at least couple of links everyday, because they will all count for your success at the end of the day and you will be happy that you did.
So practically truth is you can never stop building links for your site, just keep on building it or get it to a position where it starts to acquire links from multiple sources automatically.
