My New Site Dropped Rankings All Of A Sudden

Having experienced this phenomenon on lot of my own sites and also on many of my client’s site and also seen hundreds of cases reported at Google webmaster help forums, where webmasters and bloggers coming in screaming for help. So coming to be the point.
- Did you notice that your site pages dropped rankings?
- Have you noticed your indexed pages disappeared or moved down to over 40th page of Google?
- Did you notice your pages won’t come up in search for exact title phrase search on Google?
- Is your site relatively new? or have you just started to update your old site regularly?
Well if your answers for the above questions are true then you should know that your site is being sand boxed by Google, you should know that its not a penalty unless your site holds huge amount of duplicate content or loaded with hundreds and thousands of posts over night.
So what you should do now?
Don’t scream towards Google webmaster forums for help, why? frankly the so called SEO experts there might well tell you some lame answers and disappoint you, highly likely though there are few exceptions.
- Just keep working on your site like you used to before and keep posting unique contents consistently.
- Do not engage in crappy link building, like signature postings, do-follow comments, bookmarks etc.
- Build authoritative links, perhaps you can try to do guest posts on other blogs, get links from sites which are highly authoritative and gained Google’s trust.
- Last but not least WAIT!
Patience is virtue my friend
well I stole it from Digg.com hope Google don’t sandbox me for holding duplicate content
From the bottom of my heart I want to wish you all success and don’t get disappointed by this, as you will notice your rankings will soon start to bounce back in few months time and you will really reap the benefits then.
On an Average Google sandbox effect lasts for like 3 months to a maximum of one year.
