There are few things which you need to keep in mind while you design the navigational structure of your website.
1. Make your navigational structure more user friendly and make sure to name it in simple terms that majority of the people would understand.
2. Avoid using flash in your navbar or navmenu as they cannot be crawled by search engines.
3. Avoid tedious and nested navigational structure which takes longer time for users to get in to each section. Value the time of your users.
4. Using simple javascript and CSS for your navmenu is highly recommended as they can be crawled easily by Google bot.
