We have been seeing about quality optimization and its importance in the last part, now we are going to see one of the important aspect that determines the quality of your site. Yes of course the content. SEO professionals earlier have not been focusing on actual content of the site, but now it becomes inevitable content must also be structured in a way that it supports your SEO efforts, because its users who are going to decide the rankings of your pages in the future so its necessary that you write content for users and not for search engines anymore or we can put it like writing contents that are more user focused will get your site up in search engines eventually.
Though you write the contents for users, you should also make sure that you are including your keywords in to your articles, titles and urls without spoiling the readability of the content. I have came across a lot of articles that are merely written for search engines where you find the keywords appearing over and over again all over the content which eventually gets the readers bored. That doesn’t mean you should not use the keywords in your contents, but just make sure to stay within limits and you are not over using the keywords, its really more than enough if your keywords appear in your titles and couple of times in your actual content.
Duplicate Content:
Duplicate content doesn’t not only mean you are taking your content from other sites and posting it on yours, if you don’t optimize your sites properly and couple of the urls from your same site may point to the same content practically. For example if you don’t set your url preference in Google webmaster tools between www vs non-www. For example: if you have a site names recipesonline.com and if you don’t set your url preference, normally search engines consider www.recipesonline.com to be a separate site from recipesonline.com. So be sure you are not duplicating other’s content and also your own content, by doing so you are defaming your site in Google.
