How To Do Google SEO Yourself – Part 3

How Quality Optimization Is A Part Of SEO?
How many times have you come across a page in Google search that is useless and just a junk? I don’t know about you but I have came across a lot of such pages, people behind Google and other search engines have been working hard recently to get rid of those junk pages from being displayed in search engines anymore, all the search engines want to enhance their user experience in order to keep the users coming back to use their services, because more loyal users they get, more money they make as simple as that.
So they only want to get quality pages and results to their users and not junk pages anymore, So if your site doesn’t have the over all quality which users like then there is a high possibility that your pages will not rank high anymore.
Google has already introduced personalized search for its users, meaning if users search for a particular term called “recipe” and clicks on your page eventually and spends a lot of time on it, search engines will now consider that your site holds quality content and also that particular user likes your site and hence spends more time on it, so say if a user does a search for the same term again or for a similar term then search engines might bring up your site on top of the results for that user. So that’s where the quality comes in to play.
Also if a user doesn’t like your site and leaves your page immediately then your page might not show up on top for him again. Not only that Google takes every bit of those information in to their system and they have designed a sophisticated algorithm based on this very principle. What I mean is, you might think that your page rankings are altered only for that user and not for other so why care?
But you should know that Google takes everything in to consideration, if you are ranking at number on Google for SEO and if Google finds your bounce rates are high and people like and spend more time on site which ranks at number two, then Google will pull down your top spot and push the site on number two to number one. So all this things potentially destroys the idea that SEO is unlimited traffic for a longer period of time, in fact the answer for this is NO! users now have more control over your rankings. It potentially brings down all the junk pages on the internet that rank high in search engines. So that’s where the quality optimization comes in to play, during the previous years of SEO. quality is something not given that much preference but in the coming years quality will play a great role, you have to build a site that is focused on quality and it will also become an inevitable part of SEO in future.
We will go through the various aspects of quality optimization in the next part of this article series.
