google sandbox

Truth is nobody knows for sure that Google does have a sandbox system that segregates new domains from ranking high or even showing up in search results. But from what many webmasters have shared across the web we are more or less sure that Google does have a sandbox system that keeps the new domain on hold for certain period of time before it shows up its pages on search results and we do know that there are some factors that Google does care about a site before it actually shows up a sites page on search results and here are some other things we know from our experience of building websites and blogs.

1. Google Uses Time Based Indicators:
As mentioned before Google does use time based indicators to segregate the old sites from new one, again there are some exceptions too, Google doesn’t segregate all new sites from the old ones in its results, if your site is on a niche that is way too competitive then there is a chance that your site may be put under sandbox for a considerable period of time for review, but if your site is not based on a niche that is way too competitive then your site may well escape the sandbox and your page might very well appear in search results.

2. Google Takes Link Age In To Consideration:
When your links are old then Google does give some value to those links over new ones and this again proved from several webmasters own experience.

3. Google Counts in Domain Age:
I am sure almost everyone might be aware of it that Google does take in domain age in to consideration when ranking a webpage of a particular domain, again this may not be the possible case if your site is on a niche that is less competitive.

From the experience of webmasters we are only aware of this much that may well be a part of Google secret sandbox system. So if you think your new site is not performing well in search results then there is a possibility that it is under review by Google sandbox, make sure you are not stopping to update your site periodically and keep it active. Sometimes it takes many months to get out of it.

Funny, I just got out yesterday. I am now listed for my major competitive keywords. 13 months in that monster. I am on the 17th page though. Any suggestions on how to get a top rank quickly? Besides building a ton of more backlinks, or keywords in meta tags and content? Can you give me one very important detail as to what I should do to increase ranking?
