I had a couple of people asking me, does the free search engine submission tools really works? Well it really doesn’t matter whether the search engine submission software which you are using now is paid or free. Its really a waste of your time and money to use such softwares in my opinion.

I want to stress on the point that major players in the search engine industry are Google, Yahoo And Bing and they dominate over 95% of the market at present and their user base only keeps increasing. So the search engines which you really want to focus on while optimizing your site is only for these three. There may be tens and thousands of other search engines online but they might not do you much good in bringing you the valuable traffic to your site. And if you want to submit your site to these search engines then the best way to is to build some quality backlinks and let them find you naturally.

So does submitting your site to tons of other search engines is really useless?
