Can PPC Help You With SEO?

Its been really thought by many that PPC is a part of SEO (Which is definitely not the fact) as many SEO professionals tend to use PPC as a part of their SEO campaign. But just know that these professionals use pay per click programs for the reasons that would benefit and also complement their over all planning strategy for search engine optimization.

1. Choosing The Right Keywords:
When you want to choose the right keywords for your site, its always better to analyze it through adwords or other similar programs from yahoo or microsoft. Obviously many would look for a keyword that would convert them better, no body wants to spend time and money on keywords that doesn’t convert better. So PPC is a best way to test that instantly, you would know how well a particular keyword proves to convert users in to customers.

2. For Analyzing Site Quality:
PPC brings in targeted traffic unlike traffic from other sources, as your visitors are coming through a keyword that proved to have interested them in some way, you can analyze how much time these visitors spend on your site, you can analyze their bounce rates, exit urls, what are the pages they spend more time on and other related information from these users can be quite helpful in knowing the user’s behavior and also analyzing your site quality. Obviously if you don’t find users don’t spend a lot of time on your site through adwords program and bounce rate is huge then you must try to find a proper solution for your problems.

Most webmasters tend to use these programs for the first reason I mentioned here and tend to leave out the second one, but focusing on the second issue will throw more light about your site quality and these data can be quite useful in optimizing your site for your visitors and search engines equally.

    Very timely post!
I’ve been thinking lately about doing some ppc (and possibly facebook ads) to drive some new, targeted traffic.
WordPress isn’t an easy keyword to use…but there are plenty of niches within that to try out.
    Thanks,
