7 Tips On How To Distribute Keywords Across Your Site
Its not enough to just to do a research for keywords, its equally important that you should know how to use those keywords properly in your sites, otherwise there is no use in researching for keywords in the first place. Here are some tips on How you can distribute keywords across your site effectively.
1. Use Keywords In Your Site’s Homepage Meta Description:
You need to use your main keywords in your site’s meta description, make sure you are not stuffing the description with same terms again and again that way search engines will not use your meta description and they will tend to make a description of its own based on your site’s content.
2. Keywords In H1 And H2 Tags:
If you are using a blog, then you could do this one fairly easily. but just be sure your keywords are appearing in tag lines of your site.
3. Site’s Navigation:
Its important that you have an easy navigation structure in your site and also what’s more important is usage of keywords in your site’s navigation, search engines tend to give more importance to links in navigation.
4. Site’s categories:
Good way to enhance the internal links of your site and url structure with more keywords is by including keywords in your site’s category names. Again blog users will find it fairly easy to do. This is something I would highly recommend for my clients to make sure while building their sites.
5. Keywords in Post Titles:
This also one of the main thing you need to make sure. while forming the title for your posts just make a title that will have keywords in it. Usually long tailed keywords in the title tend to perform in search engines.
6. Keywords in Post Urls:
When you can use keywords in post titles then its easy that you can use keywords in your urls as well, it will be an added advantage in search rankings. And also increases the density of your keywords in your site to a great extent.
7. Keywords in Images Alt tags:
This is something many people fail to do, you need to make sure that the alt attribute in your images url is not incomplete, make sure to fill it with couple of your related keywords so that people will find your images in image search in Google and other search engines.
