blog comments
We know now for certain that spamming in blog comments will not do you any good with your link building campaign as lots of people have started to misuse the blog comment area. Though search engines don’t like spamming comments in blog and the links associated with it, there is still a chance that you can build effective links through blog comments when you make really good comments that are relevant to the post. Here are some tips with which you can fine tune your link building through blog comments.

1. Finding Do-Follow Blogs:
First step in making your link building campaign effective is by finding do-follow blogs that will pass link juice to your site or link which you will be using in the comment area. I have already explained in detail on how you can find do-follow blogs in this post, you can check it out to know how you can go about finding one. Just make sure you go through the post because what ever I am going to explain on the later part of this article will be based on it.

2. Finding Blogs That Are Relevant To Your Niche:
Blog comments can be useless unless you do comments that are relevant to your niche. As I explained in my post here, you can use keywords that are relevant to your blog’s niche to find appropriate blogs. But today I will tell you how you can fine tune it, instead of using keywords to find blogs, you can use more specific key phrases, like in order to find more specific blogs, for example if you are doing search for blogs related to recipe, you can do a search like this in Google “Notify me when new comments are added” how to cook roasted chicken

Instead of just using a single keyword in search like recipe, by specifying more related term to your niche, you can find blogs that are more related to your niche to comment up on.

3. Finding Active Blogs:
another important factor to keep in mind while building links is that, we should build links on blogs that are active and not on blogs that are dead and where Google spiders has stopped crawling and caching pages. To do that when you make a search in Google just try to expand show options feature in your Google search and choose to see blogs that are updated recently by choosing past week or past past 24 hours or whatever depending up on your needs.

step 1:

step 2:

4. Making Good Comments:
When you have found appropriate blogs to comment up on then next most important step would be to make good and sensible comment. Google and other search engines now do track comments that look like spam, When you make comments that look practically the same on all blogs then its going to alert the quality filters of search engines. So just don’t make a comment that is not sensible and makes zero sense. Also make comments about the blog post and don’t make a comment that appreciates the blog and blog author. Those types are comments will be marked as spams once more.

5. Don’t Spam Your Links, Build Links Consistently:
Just make sure you are not spamming your links on several blogs in a single day, that will look suspicious without a proper reason. Make sure you are building links consistently and slowly. 10 good blog comments everyday is a good practice, rather doing 100 to 400 blog comments a day.

Not So true really. PR does play a minor role like many other metric system used in Google algorithm. Fact that it plays a very small role doesn’t mean its not so important. Small things makes a big difference :)
