Cutline theme for wordpress is something that attracted me recently, reason is that this theme is designed by most well known person is blogging world Chris Pearson, Yes the person who designed the most popular wordpress theme ever “Thesis”
Cutline theme can be a good alternative for thesis theme if you are not rich enough to buy one, but there are drawbacks for this theme because Chris has stopped his work on this really good theme, I would be the most happiest person if he could spend a little time on this theme and upgrade it occasionally so that it would fit well for the latest wordpress upgrades.
Yes if you want to use this theme you need to use wordpress 2.7 version and stick with it always, I tried to install this theme on one of my test blogs it has some problems with fitting in to the latest wordpress version, if you are good with coding you could sort those minor problems of course but for those who have no idea about coding then they should probably stay away from this theme.
So lets see how this theme performs with regards to SEO, because that’s the main reason I am reviewing this theme today.
Theme uses CSS for little layout graphics which considerably reduces the amount of coding that needs to be put in to design.
It has really got a easy navigation structure for its users, so it would respond really well for search bots.
Codings are clean and really easy from the eyes of search engines, no use of java script or flash for design which is a plus point for any template that focuses on search engine optimization.
The only minus point with this template is that, its been left out with out updates so it doesn’t go well with latest wordpress updates, but still if you want to use this template and need some support, you can still get the support you need by paying the developer for this theme.
