I have been using wordpress practically on all of my projects and from my own opinion, I think wordpress is the best blogging platform you could ever get to work with for the following reasons, make sure you read them as it might be helpful for you if you are in a critical position to choose the best blogging platform for your project.
1. Wordpress Is Flexible:
One of the best reasons I choose wordpress is because of its flexibility, you can easily modify it to any of your site needs, I have seen many websites which are built with wordpress and its even surprising for me notice they have actually used wordpress to build build this site. Yes you can not only build blogs with it, you can effectively build a whole website or a video site or even an e-commerce site with it, that’s the amount of flexibility you can achieve.

I know of a lot of people (mostly personal bloggers) who do not like to monetize their blogs, some of them even claim that monetizing the blog is like ruining the whole beauty of blogs and blogging. But why blogging for money might be a bad idea after all? I could think of some possible reasons on why it might be just a bad after all to blog for money.

If you are an user of Google webmaster tools, you might have noticed that as soon as you get in your account you will notice a section called keywords to the right of your dashboard showing you the list of top five keywords which occurs on your site and it would also show you its significance level. If you haven’t noticed it before just make sure you do now. Also if you are not using Google webmaster tools I would highly recommend you to try using it. You don’t have to pay anything for it and its a free tool and it can be extremely helpful when used rightly.

When search engines like Google looks in to your website, it judges your content based on the top significant keywords that occurs on your site, and also they rank you high for the terms that are more related those top keywords.
