How To Manage Your User Profile In WordPress

Its a general tendency that as soon as you install the wordpress we tend to use the same name and password which was given to us while we go through the installation process and the reason is quite simple we are lazy to change that name and password.
But really its a best practice to change your password because its really hard to memorize your default wordpress admin password given to you that was randomly generated by the system so to change the password get to the users section in your admin panel and click on “your profile option” so as soon you get there you will get a screen similar to the one you see below.
If you just scroll down to the bottom you will see the option where you can change your password to what you can easily remember.
And also you can see other options available there like admin color scheme, you can try and play with them a little, you can also turn on and off the visual editor I prefer to turn it off but its your choice you can disable it or enable it.
You can also alter your nick name, to what you want and if you feel comfortable you can share your real name and these options are not mandatory so you are free to leave them blank or fill them out its totally your choice.
If you just scroll down a bit you will come across a section where you can share your contact info like yahoo messenger id, email etc.. again these areas are not mandatory but some visitors to your blog might want to chat with you or contact you so it will be helpful for them to reach you.
and the last section where you can write a brief biography about yourself which your users can access.
