How To Make New Post In WordPress
Once you are done with setting up your categories, blog design and layout and everything then next step will be to create your own articles and post them on your blog. We are going to see how you can make new post in wordpress blog.
1. Login to your admin panel and browse through posts section and click on Add New option.
2. Once you have clicked on “Add New” option then you will be redirected to a page called “Add New Post” which looks something like the one show below in the picture.
3. You can enter the title of your article in the space provided just below the Add New Post section.
4. Once you have entered appropriate title for your article you will start to see a new option start to appear just below the title section called permalink. You can alter the permalinks to your needs by clicking on edit button.
5. By default wordpress gives you two editor options to choose from. One is visual editor and another one is HTML editor. and both comes with its own options. you can choose the one which is comfortable for you.
6. Then you can proceed with your article in the text box provided below the editor. And once you are done with your post contents then you can proceed to entering appropriate tags for your post, usually tags are very useful for search function in your blog and also its little useful for search engine optimization, make sure you are not over using tags and stick to the limits.
7. Once you are done with creating tags for your post then next step will be to choose appropriate category for your post to be filed or posted under. This can be done from the categories option which can be found just below the tags area.
8. Final step will be to proceed towards the publish option and click on publish button, you can also alter your publish settings, if you want your posts to be published on specific time or specific part of the day they can be altered too and your posts will appear depending on your settings, by default posts will appear instantly.
