There are times when you may want to change the user roles in wordpress, just in case if you want to promote your writer to a editor position or you want to take away the author role of your writer or whatever may be your need you can change the roles of users of wordpress and here is the easy way how you can accomplish that.
Just go to “add new user” option under users in your admin panel.
Once you get there you can see the list of all users who have registered in your blog.
You can choose the user whom you can to change the role and then just above the list you can see a drop down menu with “change role to” get there and choose the role you want to assign to that user and click on change and you are done. as somple as that.
