Today I am doing a request tutorial, on how to explore and find profitable niches for your adsense based sites. This tutorial will be of really great help for people who are struggling to earn a decent income from adsense. The method is pretty straight forward which you will know as you progress through this article.

Using Google Keyword Tool:
Only tool I use to explore the amount of money rolling in to a particular niche is Google adwords keyword tool. This tool is not only free to use but also gives you some real valuable information on the niche you have in mind.

Before we get going to use this tool, I want you to write down some 5 to 10 keywords that comes to your mind about the niche you have in mind.

Once you are done with collecting the keywords all you have to do is to use those keywords in search box provided and get some keyword ideas. As you can see in the picture below each keyword has its own competition level. More the competition for your keywords more likely your niche is going to be profitable.

But wait! sometimes you cannot just go with the advertisers competition and assume that its a profitable niche for adsense. We need look further and check how much advertisers are really paying per click for those keywords on an average. Its niche to know that Google is really being transparent in exposing that key piece of information to us.

Now all you need to do to get your hands in to that information is by changing the columns to display section and change it to “show estimated avg CPC”

Estimated AVG CPC gives you a better idea on how much money flows through your niche. Also its a good idea to use high paying keywords in your site contents as they will attract high paying ads to your sites. Hope this simple tip helps you to find profitable niches for your projects.
