Many people find it difficult to choose a niche for their blogs, Here are some useful tips that will help them to decide on a niche that they will be comfortable with.
1. What Is Your Field Of Interest:
Before starting a blog, just take time to think on what you are really interested in, are you passionate about health related topics or politics or celebrities or whatever it may be, just make sure to know yourself a bit to decide on what is your field of interest. That’s the basic step you really need to take before starting a blog.
2. What Is Your Field Of Expertise:
You also need to consider what is your field of expertise as well, something which you know more about which others don’t. Something with which you can call yourself unique about. So its good to choose a niche that will deal with your field of expertise, that way you can able to contribute more informative posts to your visitors.
3. What Are You Really Going To Focus On Your Blog:
You might have came to a conclusion that health or any other topic for that matter is a field that you know more about, its the topic with which you can feel comfortable and passionate about, but just know that what you have chosen might very well be a huge niche for example if you have chosen to write about health, then its a better option to choose a micro niche based on health like cancer or losing weight or flattening your abs etc.. I would always suggest choosing a micro niche if you are new to blogging and websites.
4. What’s new you are going to contribute to your visitors:
There may be many other blogs on the niche you have decided to take up to start a blog, but you should really ask yourself, What’s new I am going to contribute to my visitors which others failed to do. Because unless you contribute something new to your visitors they will not going to find it unique. you need make some impression on your visitors that your blog is something different from others.
5. How Will Your Blog Fulfill Your Goals:
you also need to think about how your blog is going to fulfill your goals like making money or getting you fame or whatever you are focusing on, I am putting this on the last place because many people tend to start a blog based on heath niche just because its a high paying niche in adsense, but they may not know anything about health related issues then it merely makes you look like an hypocrite and people will not like those type of blogs. So just start a blog that will be really useful to people, that gives them an impression that you have authority over what you say in your blog then money, fame and other things will follow by itself.
