Setting Up Your Pinging List In Your WordPress Blog
Pinging services are useful in informing search engines and other sources that you have updated your blog. Fortunately wordpress comes with an excellent system that does the work for you automatically all you need to do is just make an initial setup and you can just go about updating your blog. Every time you update your blog with new post wordpress automatically pings these search engines and other services notifying them that you have updated you blog and request them to come and check it out.
Here is how you can set up your pinging service.
Go to your writing services under settings option. And by default you will have wordpress pinging to pingomatic, but you can add other services and update the list. Here is the list of services I use.
