link building How To Use Trackbacks To Build Links And Traffic To Your Blog
One of the best thing about wordpress is its trackback system, meaning whenever a person from other blog links to any of your post anywhere you will be immediately sent an trackback notifying the exact url where your post is mentioned.

So how it will help you to build links? I know many of the times the trackbacks you get are from junk sites mostly which is not going to be of any help but instead of waiting someone else to link back to you, you can start up the whole process. you can choose blogs which are performing well and where they allow trackbacks from other sites to appear in their posts.

Next step will be to choose some interesting article in that blog and write a review based on that post in your blog and link back to that particular article from your blog and as soon as you do that and publish your review, the blog owner at the other end will be notified and he will be happy to know that you have reviewed one of his article and let your trackback to appear under his post.
Update: To add trackback try to use the track back option under the post editor in your wordpress and include the url of the original post there.

But the trackback link you get out of this whole process is only 50% of the story, next step can be like you can contact that person through his email, you can find people’s email mostly through whoisdomain tools and mail him personally from your official mail id, not some gmail id or some other free emailing service so that the other person knows you are not spamming but instead you are serious about the whole process and you can request him to review back one of your articles.

This can be helpful to establish friendly communication between other bloggers who are in the same niche as you and also helps your blog to grow organically as you start to find more people linking towards you. This is one of the best ways to build search engine friendly links to your blog and it proved to be of tremendous help to me and to my clients and yes it does work really well.
