How To Optimize Custom More Text Link In Blog For Better Rankings

In order to optimize read more text link we are going to use the plugin headspace, just know that this plugin basically serves you all the purpose for on-page optimization methods and I will use this plugin to achieve almost all the on-page optimizations, so I would say its a must for any wordpress blog because of the functionality it offers.
Once you have installed this plugin then go to headspace under settings and you will come across a window similar to the one seen below and at the top choose the page modules option.
once you click on page modules you will see a set of options that are disabled and you can see an option there called “More text” just click and drag it to simple option at the top and expand it and select include excerpts if you want your custom more text link to appear even in excerpts.
Once you done that you should now see a new column in the edit area like the one shown below and you can enter your custom more text in that box and also fill in your meta description and title if you want.
